We’re running the 10k Race for Life and we need your help!

Following our successful 5km Run for Africa last month in aid of the non-profit Global Hands DMU enterprise, the team at Pure Homecare are now doubling up for a mammoth 10k run from Victoria Park, Leicester as part of the 2015 Race for Life.

So far we have Ebony Brooks, Natalie Donarte, Lola Ojomo, Jenny Wardle, Sophia Rutherford and Jeanette White working hard to prepare themselves for this triumphant undertaking, a rock solid team indeed if we do say so ourselves.

But of course, what’s a team without a name to race by? So let us introduce the ‘Pure Cancer Punchers’ and in case you didn’t catch the proud undertone… it’s because, you know, we fight cancer! We’re still toying with the idea of wearing boxing gloves and shorts on the day, so if you’d like to see healthcare experts dressed in daft attire, you can always try convincing us on Facebook and Twitter.

Now, here’s the important part – fundraising. The Pure Cancer Punchers are looking to raise a mighty £1,000 with your help and you can find our Just Giving profile here. Donate as you wish and tell your friends, it goes without saying but Cancer Research UK do such a wonderful job at preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer that we owe them our support – however daft we may look doing it!

If you’d like to dress in pink and peg it against cancer then there’s still time to.
