Our End of Life Training aims to help frontline staff in the health and social care sector and carers to understand how best to provide effective and sensitive palliative care.

Our training manager, Mark, has decades of experience in training and the health and social care sector. Using background information and the Department of Health’s End of Life Care Strategy, the End of Life Training Course seeks to provide participants with solid foundations from which to provide effective end of life care to those suffering from terminal illnesses. Participants will then be trained in treatment and consent, record keeping and how to support the individual and their family.

Although none of our courses are accredited, they provide carers or other individuals working in the care industry with the opportunity for further development. All training is regarded as an important addition to a CV and therefore our courses can help individuals to secure employment or support further education modules. This course takes place at our headquarters close to Leicester city centre.

The End of Life Course is an all-day course, with an emphasis on communication. View the lesson plan for this course for more information on what will be covered on this course.
